Protocol for Attending Services during the Green Phase
Lancaster County entered Green Phase on June 26.
We have received His Eminence's blessing for our official entry into the green phase of parish worship and ministry.
Who may attend?
Parishioners of Annunciation who DO NOT have the following:
1. Signs or symptoms of any acute illness (COVID or otherwise).
2. Have had contact with COVID-positive persons within 2 weeks.
All age restrictions lifted in the Green Phase :)
Masks must be worn during the services unless you have a valid medical reason.
No more sign-ups before services.
Seating will be assigned in every other pew to help maintain social distancing.
You will notice a Pew 'A' and Pew 'B' designation for each service.
The first 125 worshippers will be permitted in the Nave and Balcony for each service.
Those who arrive after the 125 person limit is reached will be directed by the ushers to the Philoptochos Hall where a large screen TV and seating will be set up to follow the live stream.
A priest will come down at the appropriate time to offer Holy Communion to those who are prepared to receive.
We will be returning to our customary practice of receiving Holy Communion and venerating the holy icons.
Services will continue to be live streamed if you cannot be there in person.
We will return to regular Sunday schedule in Green Phase:
8:15 AM Orthros
9:30 AM Liturgy
There will be no coffee fellowship during the summer months.
Please review "The Road Ahead" document below.
By entering the church you are agreeing to worship under the safety guidelines of our Metropolis.
