Our Growth

Annunciation has called its neighborhood home since 1959, with another dynamic building project erected only 11 years later, in 1970, to accommodate the growing needs of the parish.

Now, nearly 55 years since the last significant expansion and guided by our parish goals, Annunciation looks to future growth in our faith, service, and fellowship.

Current Projects

Social Hall Renovation

Including Entrance, Foyer & Breezeway

To meet the fellowship needs and reinforce the communal bonds of our church community, this project aims to:

• Create an inviting space for social functions.
• Provide a space suitable for parishioners to rent and/or use for receptions and other family celebrations.
• Expand possibilities for rental income from outside groups.
• Create more adaptable solutions for the diverse athletic functions of our youth and young adults.
• Improve the acoustics and audio/visual capabilities for large group presentations, retreats, and assemblies.
• Along with the newly renovated kitchen, expand our successful food box ministry.
• Enhance the social, educational, and service ministries of our church's mission.

Elevator Modernization

To meet the needs of building occupants and ensure the safe, reliable operation of the elevator, this project’s goals are:

• Replace failing components to reduce breakdowns and service interruptions.
• Upgrade systems to meet current safety codes and standards.
• Install modern controls and motors to reduce energy use and improve performance.
• Modernize critical parts to ensure long-term operation and reduce costly emergency repairs.
• Refresh interior finishes, lighting, and ride comfort for a more pleasant experience.
